As I have said elsewhere I just love Renaissance and Annie Haslam's singing. She is beautiful in more than just looks. I am having this song at my funeral as I think is so beautiful. My husband says I look like Annie (blonde hair - dyed now) but I wish I could sing like her. Enjoy everyone they don't write songs like this any more.

@frododarg Yep, it's apparently about the Vietnam war, although it's a very disguised, or 'oblique' reference, I guess. I remember reading a comment somewhere to the effect that "Betty Thatcher must've been in a really depressed mood when she wrote the lyrics for songs on Turn of the Cards." Pretty 'heavy' subject matter, when you consider this song, Cold is Being, Mother Russia, Running Hard...

Most underrated band of all time. Has to be.

All of the BBC sight & sound concert has now been posted - enjoy it before the suits take it down!

Saw Renaissance live a couple months ago in New York. They sounded amazing! Annie still has it too. She hit all the high notes perfectly.
