hey i have a question i installed my system and had everything working excellent but the other day i tried turning everything on but my amp goes on protect mode but then i took my remote wire and put it into the ignition fuse and starts good does that mean my remote lead went bad on my deck???

@feetchermancj Thanks...yeah, I didn't realize that there were so many Amplifier companies that engage in false advertising and deceptive practices regarding their stated wattage--well on Amazon.com anyway---and I thought that I had Fried my brand-new amplifier when come to find out, I did not. I guess you get what you pay for.

@kingbansal187: Yes you can. This port actually works just like the modern remote connection. Did you switched on the radio, the wire is energized. Did you switched off the radio, the voltage drops.
But check first if +12 V is switched. Indeed, there are also radios, where the ground is switched. You need a relay, if the ground is switched. |
