@OgGz1 Know anything about power transfer? I seem to remember anything over the shoulder whilst kneeling can reduce J-stroke power. Proved on an Ergo Machine contraption I believe.

Not too clear with the explain. he's also ruddering a bit. i guess so we can see better the technique. the j could be explained more simply i think, but the guy can paddle a boat, thats clear.
