This was so much better than Paranormal Activity.
Paranormal Activity 1 was shit. They say 2 was worse.

i liked the american version because i saw it first. but omg, this version is 10x better. the remake changed a few things. first was the *real* reason why ling, the eye donor, was still unable to rest in peace. second, the scenes of that boy in the accident, the woman with the large blue tongue and the ghost face on the window of the train were absent from the american ver. and finally, it had a different ending, which makes it sadder i think. i also liked that dr. wah was in love with mun. LOL.

I went to watch the trailer when I saw the girl in the elevator, as a scene from the movie, with this creepy grey grudge guy floating towards her. Shit, asia is so scary.

this movie is based on a true story, that's why the situations were so natural and spooky to death. I couldn't sleep well for about a month after I watched this movie 10 years ago. After few years, The Eye (Jessica Alba) came to remake this movie but I think it's a remake-fail cause the american version can't bring the asian horror feeling into west culture as the story was happened in Asia.

I caught this on cable one night and loved it! The ending to this movie was so much scarier and horrific than the American remake. I was disappointed when I saw the remake ending. |
