Neither one of my MIM strats make that horrible buzzing noise that sounds like a broken patch cord. Something wrong with that thing.

i had one of these new strats when they first came out and they suck balls i think the reason was because the new 2 point fulcrum tremolo is not made from die cast steel like the vintage ones and also to get a decent sound from the bridge pickup i had to reverse it like what hendrix did and it gets a lot more distortion so there u go i just gave away a trade secret for you

i have a weird technique i rest my hand on the bass strings u know EAD when im playing solos thats got to be unusual hasnt it but i do need to rest my hand a lot because i play a lot of thrash metal and it wears u out fast

@DidacticEno All of that is bullshit. Finishes don't make any difference in sound ELECTRICALLY.
