@KillSwitch2 Some of the sects, no doubt. But not all. If I heard of any high profile "stars" mixed up with a known Christian cult, or even evangelical sect, I'd be just as concerned. Believe me, I freaked when I heard George Bush claim the Jesus "told him" that he should be president. Riiiiiiight. Don't they realize that they have pills for that now?

@KillSwitch2 The reason anyone should be concerned that a "star" like Cruise is heavily involved with Scientology is because it is a dangerous cult and there are a lot of people who will follow the lead of their "heroes" and get into Scientology too. Those fans, however, become plebes who end up owing thousands of dollars to their "church" and/or working for peanuts.
