i work in warehouse and as an american u have to appreciate what these guys do it is truly a thankless job so remember when u get ur goods it was a trucker and a warehouse guy who made it happen

I've been a Diesel Tech for over tweenty five years and of all the truckers, i respect the owner/operator the most. The least respect would have to be the majority of the Union truckers who honestly don't have a clue of what either a hard days work is or how to take care of their equiptment.

I agree it is a thankless job, hearing the comments over the years growing up the daughter of a OTR driver, people dont appericate truckers. If you have a family fi would suggest that you do local driving. It is very hard on the children. Its like having a weekend parent if your lucky to see them that often. Good luck to you. and GOD BLESS ALL THE TRUCKERS!!!!!

@lyttlebytt2 thank you, not just responding but for the work you do. It sounds like a great job for me. just the thought of a different office view every day...

@chevyisgay379 the hours can be long and it's the most thankless job you'll ever have. If you can get by this it's also the best job in my opinion. It can be stressful at times, and other times relaxing. I've been driving for 20 years and can't think of anything else I rather do. |
