Timeless song, the words speak volumes, love how u coupled the two songs together. Both renditons are jewels to the world, the world lost an angel when Tami's flame was exstinguished so prematurely if ever their was a candel in the wind it was her, Stevie must have been crushed.

@Cherryotaku95 get a life.look how long ago i sent that comment you must have really been searching for any reason to post a stupid comment,obviously people care hence the reason it is thumbed up. its fine if you dont care but simply dont look. and did i at any point say 'oh its just me who is young and hates todays music but loves motown music' no i think not hun. Its so funny how people get so brave behind a computer screen, especially when the negativity is so uncalled for in the first place.

@BuenaventuraAvenue They would have ten years ago, but I fear that Motown related stories are out dated. They will be making movies about the artist of the 70's', 80's now. In fact, the sexist industry of show business hasn't made many movies about female artist at all. Of course there was Tina Turners story. However, if they can bash the black male and show David Ruffin and James Brown beating Tammi to death, they may get the movie made.

@DavisNetPromos5550 I think that may be down to the fact that this song was recorded before she'd really settled into her groove as far as how she sang on record. That voice with Marvin is indeed distinctive though :)

Wow...who knew that song was so old??? Interesting (on another note) that her voice is SOO distinct when she sings with Marv...but solo...I can hardly recognize her as Tammi . Anybody agree?
