Where does sexuality at all come into liking Tori Amos? I have been a (very straight) pianist and artist since I was 7. She is one of a kind. [God] broke the mold after [she] made her. It's more than her piano playing, which is enough in itself, but she loses herself in her music, which sets her at a higher bar of artist.

Weight does not make a true artist.... just look at Nancy Wilson, who still sounds sooo very amazing.... or KD Lang, who has some real pipes!!! ... it should not even be an issue.... If this were a guy, would we still be having the same conversation? NO!!! Tori Rocks!!!

this is the first tori amos song i ever heard back in 98' i actually bought this album and im a guy. who isnt gay. i see how the parallels between her and tools' music cross since her and maynard are such good friends. the beginning sounds just like a tool song

@derailedbicycle In short, Ice cream assassin was a nick name the press gave to a group of child kiddnappers in the 90s who used to lure children to them using ice cream vans. This song is about Tori's miscarriage, so she's calling God an ice cream assassin because he took her baby away.

I know Tori's said "the ice cream assassin" refers to God but does anyone have any theory as to how she arrived at that particular term? What could ice cream possibly signify in relation to God? I adore the song by the way and I adore Tori, love the lyrics as well but the part mentioned above was always somewhat of a mystery for me.
