fabulous television, i loved this programme and never missed an episode, which is more than can be said for the gormless trash that clutters our screens up these days.

@trdidion Yes. You are correct. Robert Vaughn did star in Bullitt. He portrayed Walter Chalmers, a self-serving politician who attempts to make friends with Frank Bullitt. When the main Mob witness dies during a Mob probe, Chalmers tries to have Lt. Bullitt fired.
This Chalmers character ruined Vaughn's chance to enter politics.
