i just wonder what is the driving force that makes those packets move along ethernet cables? there must be some transmitter pushing them or smth?
how can just one mouse-click evoke all this flood of electrical impulses (0s and 1s) to sweep at the speed of light to some server 3009 km away and than go back in a second? and all this travel through hundreds or thousands of routers, switches and sattelites?
