Ohio Light Opera (Wooster, Ohio) gave a fully staged version of this operetta maybe 5 years ago. Both the singers and orchestra were first rate! I think this production--with all the dialogue in English-- is now available on a CD-set. Thank you for this video. Great music.

I've never heard this in Russian. I think it is really nice, although now I can't understand it. I think I must learn some Russian.

They're not doing the Shimmy very well. Even so, it's more fun to hop while dancing than while singing.
