I'm usually more of a women's figure skating fan, but this program gave me chills. I just love his expression and choreography!

uh.. too bad he flopped so much at the olympics. if he did like this, he would definitely be the champion...

[Edit] Well you could argue some of the scores if the judges are obviously in disagreement with each other. For example, one judge giving a skater a 5.9 and then another judge giving the same skater 5.4. :P

@Novelwit2000 Well the scores really just determined the standings. If a judge saw that a skater skated worse than a predecessor, they had to give them a lower number on the scale. That's why it's useless to argue what may seem to one low scores, rather you should argue the standings. I agree with the judges being anonymous as not convenient. If they've got nothing to hide then why be anonymous? It's a system that could rid a lot of injustices if only used correctly...

@MrAmazingness1234567 Thanks for your comments! I'm just not sure if skaters will ever get what they deserve. Overall, you just see how a LOT of skating is going down hill. I mean, when you check out a clip of David Santee doing a death drop (I think?) off of the music to 'Rocky' that was AMAZING! You'll never see that kind of skating anymore. Back in the day, skaters were like daredevils. Now, they skate for this point and that point. But none of it really adds up to anything.

@pinto89100 Thanks for your comments! I'm just an old school fan of figure skating--remembering the likes of JoJo Starbuck & Ken Shelly. And I've NEVER understood all this holding back scores to 'leave room' for others. I mean, if I were a judge and I saw someone skating early on and they deserved a '6' I'd give them the 6. And if the next person was likewise great, then I'd give them a 6 too. All in all, I'd just want to give skaters what they deserved. It's all too anonymous now.

@Novelwit2000 No....bringing back the 6.0 system would mean younger skaters having to wait years until judges decide to score them correctly, skaters who skate earlier than others would be at a disadvantage because judges would have to leave room, and not to mention, having to worry about one skater changing all the standings whether the results are fair or not. All that doesn't happen in the COP. While the COP is definitely flawed it's definitely an improvement from the 6.0...

@Novelwit2000 , The old judging system had no proper guidlines of judging! It was MORE UNFAIR EVEN THAN NOW- in this new system, your given guidlines as to what different elements are worth and then pcs is scores on the % of time in the program you had different choreography and style(etc.)..... Really good (for men long program) = 140-149, awesome= 150-159, amazing=160-169, 170+ is off the charts
