@LDVTennis Interestingly, according to Yuka Sato's father (and coach,) Midori's basic skating skills are overlooked simply because of her jumps. Her basic skating skills allowed her to go directly to any spins right after a jump. As her body was not flexible, she had limitations for the spiral positions. However, her spins and footworks were also one of the tops. No, she was not a ballerina on ice. She generated the excitement with the power and the speed of men.
