@mistfist97 because elemental weapons do more long term damage, with specific benefits against sheilds, vehicles or flesh.

Why does everyone use elemental weapons? What I mean is that the stats arent as goods as regular weapons. Someone please explain.

Borderlands: the most underated game...
its wierd how not many people have it but the people who do love it.
does this make it a flawless game?

@Matt0I0Attack not when you get all the way up to lv.69 because you will notice you need elemental or hard hitting guns which the siren is best at buffing up. i have a soldier and love unltimited ammo, but he's just a support character. sooner you understand that the easier it is to play the game.
