@mrkosilathi I'm also a Brit (although I don't see what our nationality has to do with it) and I'm saying that, as someone who read Roald Dahl's books as a child, I find it hard to enjoy when the story clashes with the accents. It'd be like watching a Western movie where all the characters are speaking Queen's English. Besides, don't be such a sensitive pants, no one likes a sensitive pants.

@Romzykins Im a brit and im saying shutup and enjoy the movie, stop bieng such a negative pants, nobody likes a negative pants :)

Roald Dahl is an English author and this is such a decidedly English story, so why on earth do most of the characters have American accents? It's distracting and really quite irritating. I also find it amusing that, for the most part, the nasty characters are the Brits. Oh well...

Imagine how this movie would've been like if Randall's "Honey Badger" was popular during this time ...
Mayor Badger doesn't give a shit!

That is funny, I completely agree. Soothing and mesmerizing. Not since I was a kid could I watch a movie and get so lost into it. |
