thouse blackwater contractors acused of crimes did in fact face trial in the us they were found not guilty when a firefight erupts bullets can and do hit people that are not the target of thouse bullets if they miss or go through the target. in an ambush if you don't quickly gain fire superiority you die people get killed in wars its an ugly truth that in this push button era people dont like to think about

there are contract workers that just drove trucks. The blackwater and tripple canopy contractors had at least 4 years privious military service some had been seals,sas,sbs,grom,marines and army airborne they were not above the law any more than the us solders were they were employed by the state dept to do vip protection and armed security of fixed post presislybecause the us military was not large enough to do everything 140,000 troops isnt enough security for the population 30 million of iraq

@Bmwood121 mercenaries are scum. When I was a child living in Croatia I saw 3 American mercenaries captured. They were acting as snipers for the croats and killing civilians. My uncles militia captured them, beat them, skinned their tattoos off, castrated them, crucified them and the next day set for to the 1 who survived.
