when he first sings "all i ever", oooo....it is reminiscent of Paul Stanley's voice (tho' P's popularity w/ Kiss was soon to come)* .. such a good strong voice, and wow.such a talented songwriter and performer. eric carmen a true rocker from the time when hard rock was in it's blessed infancy. <3

Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!

Eric and the Raspberries at their live best..Recorded 11/7/73 at the Palace Theater NYC; 5 songs aired on DKRC, but the concert was a 9 song set. You can hear the whole concert at this site and download tracks too! Go to wolfgangsvault com

prefiero la de motley crue, suena más salvaje y sexi!!!

@minnabean33 I do prefer Mötley :D First I knew, and much more emotion in Neil's voice. In fact, I think it's not the same. Carmen seems confident, Vince Neil seems confused in the song.

Leaving the Velvet Underground to front the Raspberries was the smartest move Lou Reed ever made.

Just listened to Motley Crue version---Raspberries much better --but it's all just opinion and preference.

Jim Bonfanti's drumming was cool.

"Artie Peeler" oh yea that's the future joan jett guitar alright. in a perverse "wtf were you thinking dude" way it's really cool that eric carmen passed such a cool guitar on to the "younger generation." (it being a custom-painted/hot-rodded-pickups, one-of-a-kind gibson as a result).
