when he first sings "all i ever", oooo....it is reminiscent of Paul Stanley's voice (tho' P's popularity w/ Kiss was soon to come)* .. such a good strong voice, and wow.such a talented songwriter and performer. eric carmen a true rocker from the time when hard rock was in it's blessed infancy. <3

prefiero la de motley crue, suena más salvaje y sexi!!!

@minnabean33 I do prefer Mötley :D First I knew, and much more emotion in Neil's voice. In fact, I think it's not the same. Carmen seems confident, Vince Neil seems confused in the song.

Leaving the Velvet Underground to front the Raspberries was the smartest move Lou Reed ever made.

Just listened to Motley Crue version---Raspberries much better --but it's all just opinion and preference.

Jim Bonfanti's drumming was cool.

"Artie Peeler"
oh yea that's the future joan jett guitar alright. in a perverse "wtf were you thinking dude" way it's really cool that eric carmen passed such a cool guitar on to the "younger generation." (it being a custom-painted/hot-rodded-pickups, one-of-a-kind gibson as a result). |
