@IdolHans I agree with you completely. Besides other great moments, his slide playing on ya ya's Love in vain is amongst my all time favourites, of anyone.

Mick Taylor joined the Stones as a musician. The Stones were at the forefront of what was bridging the gap between blues and popular rock. MT is 100% a blues guitarist and in many peoples eyes one of the greatest white blues guitarists the music world has even come across.
Listen to what Mick Taylor did for Let It Bleed, you will understand.
Mick Taylor was never a rockstar, he is a bluesman. And one of the best....
