@baldieman64 each in his own language The WORD/Gospel/Christ's Work, Lord Forgive be i wrong or offbase. Lord Knows folks understand different things different ways. He Spoke plain some, parables some, poetic some, allegory some, praise GOD. are there any flawed translations? perhaps, Lord Have Mercy. a good translation must 1) be THE WORD and not modified to 'suit' anyone better necessarily or be 'watered down' or made 'easier' by 'man's judgment' and The BIBLE Is GOD's WORD.

The Bible cannot be read as a 'secular textbook', belief, discernment, etc. are necessary, then one sees it's not so ambiguous. it's consistent, search your supposed 'contradictions' online, some folks have answers for that, Lord Forgive be i wrong or offbase. it's in multiple languages possibly bc acts 2 says at Pentecost the crowds heard the apostles speak

Lord Willing, unto Heaven, they be Healed, Lord Forgive be i wrong or offbase PLGB genesis 1 says same as big bang does 'beginning->formless 'abyss, then boom, By GOD! light, matter, etc.' heard from a colleague at a conference 'science' may even point to a 'cosmic energy signature' or somethin' predating big bang, that's

@Manifestatheist with God all things are possible....that and i believe the line says 'all the kingdoms 'of the world'' though Lord Forgive be i wrong or offbase. do you know what shape the sky/space truly is at it's outer reaches?? He Does! The Bible poetically expresses many a scientific thing in terms understandable to people of the times....maybe The LORD did create the earth upon pillars initially, the fixed structure perhaps at its center,or the crust, or both.

@JOOODYJOOODY You need to be careful how you define and use the word belief it is more grey then black and white,to discount the word altogether would be foolish,however a Belief in a unaccredited god or gods is even more foolish.Knowing is always better then believing.
