@TroyOi
Actually, the inverse is true. It was the need to get legislators to allow concessions for the creation of EPCOT itself, with the Disney World we know today as the result of Walt Disney's death. Apart from being a showman and entertainer, he was a capitalist and industrialist that was surging through this age of American development. It is my firm belief that, had he lived a few more years, the world would be talking not of "Silicon Valley" but the "Silicon Swamp" of Florida.

Why does this remind me of the Howard Stark scene from Iron Man 2?

I've always lamented the fact that Disney's vision for EPCOT was never realized. As a kid, it had inspired me, and I'd hoped to get the chance to live & work there one day.
Not to be overly cynical, but I now have to wonder whether the whole "EPCOT vision" thing might not have just been a device to extract needed concessions from the State of Florida -- mostly, I gather, in the form allowing Disney Corp to run Disney World with relative autonomy, which they did eventually get.

@atiboy1 Worse yet, he didn't even see Disney World itself open, let alone EPCOT.

@ScubaSteve228 I actually trying this on SimCity 2000. It's not working out so great. He didn't planout utilities. ANd in Simcity I had to add the theme park section.
