How did the Viet Cong get American weapons?

@LivingDeadVideos I disagree with the village massacre thing. In America civil war, can the North American massacre a South American town ? They are all people from the same country, it's hard to believe that they can that animalistic. If it was American troops that massacred villages then it might be credible, after all they weren't there for justice and they knew it.

@aclock2 Precisely. They were trying to cause as much damage and fear as possible. The North Vietnamese were trying to lure American soldiers upward, away from the South. It was a success, afterward the Congs came in from the Cambodian Borders and from the North itself. They attacked major cities simultaneously and consecutively, some villages were defenseless and massacred as well. The American embessy took little damage, but there was plenty damage already done.

How do they suppose to destroy the embassy with M14 and rocket launcher ? I think they wanted public attention. They wanted to show that if they can attack US embassy in the middle of Saigon, there is no where they can't attack.

@Gmancrap That's because news used to be news. Now the "News" is nothing more than a group of like minded people forcing their opinions down the throats of the blind sheep that are the viewers. Oh, and everything is censored. The media is the 4th branch of the government, they tell you what they want you to know, nothing more.
