It's the SCHOOL SYSTEMS fault? GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Think back a bit. What % of YOUR classmates REALLY paid attention during Geography? Look, there are 7 continents. The US makes up 1/2 of the upper half of 1 of them. We're not talking "find Suriname" here, THIS IS the country these people live in!!! IF they CARED at all, there are maps in EVERY library, as well as countless websites.

A fifth of the people in America cannot locate the U.S. on a world map because our school systems apparently need to upgrade their geography programs or better their approach to teach geography. Thats what I would have said.
