Damn! - YouTube STILL doesn't have this crap fixed? Doesn't that take "hire the handicapped" beyond all reasonable levels?

@jerry3331000, - Re: "All the faithful in Christ are waiting alongside you..." - And doing so faithfully but with no clue that the term "faithful in Christ" relies on the insinuation that the teachings of Jesus are known, while any knowledge of Bible history demonstrates very clearly that no one knows what he taught, or even IF he taught. He may not have even existed. That would mean they're faithful in an imaginary myth. (AKA: not too bright)

@Tommyr, - Re: "Prove it. We're waiting......" - Where would you like to start. Bill IS correct. And that can be demonstrated very clearly, with very little effort. We can show that theists are more violent, less law-abiding, less intelligent (on average), faster to anger, more prone to war, devoutly anti-freedom, self-righteous... and wrong in their beliefs about god(s). - Just tell me where you want to start.

@HaloFilms8, - Re: "Believe whatever you want, just don't shove it down other people's throats." - Have you never noticed that people ACT on their beliefs? Have you never noticed that in the case of theism, that almost always results in people being killed in the name of various gods? Sorry, when people believe things which are obviously wrong, and tremendously harmful, it's your responsibility to demonstrate that the beliefs themselves are false. Knowledge cures theism.

@katelling1, - "arrogance" - That's the word theists use when they can't show that you're wrong, but won't admit that you're right. Being right while showing the fact that theism makes no sense is the definition for "arrogant" in the theist's mind. Sorry, that's your problem, not mine. You need to learn what the word means. If you can counter my argument, THEN you might have a point. I've noticed that you don't even try.

@katelling1, - Re: "ur arrogance and belief that everyone also is beneath u quite frankly is utterly disturbing u really need to get check out" - Might I ask to see your doctorate in psychology? If you knew someone who absolutely insisted that fairies exist and the actions of those fairies manifest in their life, would you think THEY needed to be checked out? There isn't ANY difference between such a belief in fairies, and a belief in God. "Doctor, cure thyself", think about it.

@Tommyr Glad you are waiting- keep waiting and you will see it proved right before your eyes. (Is it 'we're waiting' or 'I'm waiting'?) All the faithful in Christ are waiting alongside you - so you are in joyous company

Maher couldn't be more right on this.

I live in Europe and grew up here and it's really funny to see the cultural differences between this two continent, we have nothing in comment!! We live in a post atheist society in which we basically don't give a shit anymore, because there is no way to prove if it exists or not but we are really interested in the history of religion, and arguing about that will definitely educate you and move on!! your like a drunken guy looking for his key on a particular spot because it's better lit.

Sigh. These clips always go the same way: Athiest/Agnostic person - "makes logical, well reasoned point" Religious person - *laughs dismissively* "oh well that's your opinion" If you have a belief that can't be logically supported then it time to find a new belief!!!
