I love the series as well ....its too bad that Aly and Holly couldn't get along with Shannon off stage...think thats a main reason they decided to cut Charmed after Paige joined for the last few seasons.

prue was killed by the wind demon and sources assasin shax at the end of season three, grief stricken piper tried to bring her back by casting a spell to find a lost witch but the spell led them to paige who is the daughter of their mother patty and her whitelighter sam making her a half whitelighter/half witch sister at the beginning of season 4. she reconstituted the power of three after prues funeral and together they vanquished shax once and for all.
