Mysteries of Deep Space: Part 4 of 6. In the fold of our home galaxy, the Eagle Nebula is one of the richest of the great star nurseries. Intense stellar winds have sculpted a majestic castle of gas. Inside these giant columns, stars are being born. Yet for the dying stars that set this process in motion, the consequences are grim. Supernovae leave in their wake a range of bizarre objects. Among them, tiny ultra-dense objects called neutron stars, and their strange, other worldly cousins, black holes.

@mrlogicalman1 Please leave the religious nonsense to the videos that pertain to the subject. This video however has nothing to do with the quran or any other "holy" books.

big deal the holy quran 1400years ago talks about the universe expanding , talks about blackholes, pulsars, supernovas 1000other science stuff just recently proven. while bible says earth is 6000yrs old , has 4corners and is flat. thats all nothing about space objects, or about afterlife in detail
hegemoniuspiper (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

@MegiddoVidoq So is that a yea or a nay on accepting Jesus as your personal lord and savior? Keeping in mind that refusal is tacit acceptance of perpetual torture.

Black holes have to be solid objects.. Study Hawking Radiation and quantum mechanics. Basically, all atoms are 99% empty space themselves. Now take a massive star, take its' core, and take away the 99% of all the atoms' that makes up that core, empty space, and there you go. Essentially, a black neutron star. I don't understand how the math doesn't work here. Fits so well with the reason of Hawking Radiation and still fits well with General Relativity, equally so.
