I just love the way Lydia's lips move the third time she says Beetlejuice! Oh man and to think those were the wonder years where hand-drawn animation was still in place!

0:19 and so forth is the part you want to know and it goes: Though I know I should be wary, still I venture some place scary. Ghostly haunting I turn loose! Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice! BEETLEJUICE!

I always loved when Lydia's cape shifted from black to red in this sequence. The sound clip, the dignified pose and the gentle bounce of the fabric... very "magical girl" only without the brief nudity.

Love this scene.. its one of the few scenes from the series, other than the opening credits, that they actually spent money to animate well .

Tim Burton had didn't technically create the Nightmare Before Christmas. He only created the general consensus with a poem, and nothing else.

Well yeah. Tim Burton. Creator of Beetle Juice, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare before Christmas, Corpse Bride, and God knows what else. |
