@CaptainWwowW Indeed. With all those deep striking Land Raider Crusaders, flying Librarian Venerable Dreadnoughts. Not to forget the ridiculously OP'd special characters and Assault/Sanguinary guard spam. The only army with a fighting chance would be Grey Knights, who are even more OP. Lets admit it; Matt Ward creates broken Codexes full of lore rape.
(And before someone says that I just can't play, I have years of experience and I have won two tournaments)

I was playing Tyranids today, against Blood Angels. I took a Tyrannofex and a Hive Tyrant with Armored Shell (both have 2+ armor save). He killed the fex and got my Tyrant down to 2 wounds in the FIRST TURN OF SHOOTING. That is 8 wounds on 2+ armor saves first goddamn turn. He later admitted Blood Angels are a broken army.

@mattysupe Yes they're both space marines but they have very different backgrounds as well as rules. The only thing that's really the same is stat lines and basic equipment.
So with so many differences you might as well make two codices which in fact has been done by GW as long as I can remember. (they did experiment with a codex marines and small supplement codices which didn't work that well) |
