I listen to a lot of music, a lot of different styles and flavors of music; new, old and in-between. This song, though, is sticking in my mind and heart. It won't fade and won't be dislodged by anything else, no matter how wonderful. Maybe it's the place I am in my life: 47, with a 22 year old daughter and a 15 year old son, both of whom like the song, too. Anyway, this song speaks to me. It stays with me. Some days, it haunts me. Life goes fast. Enjoy every moment.

I heard this song last night in a restaurant, & remembered how much I LOVE IT. 100 yrs of life goes by in the blink of en eye. Live BIG! Make your impact on this world for GOOD! We never KNOW when our EXIT sign will hit us, so smile enjoy & don't fear what comes after. Through the ups & downs it will end up being all GOOD!

All of us do not show it, but you can not hide that we are all scare. The world lies before us. You can look at your friends in first grade, then you blink. When you open you're eyes your in high school writing an essay for college submissions. Another blink and you're at the altar saying your vows. Moments after that...your bringing your own child to college. When you think back on all those years, there is so much you want to change. So much more you wanted to do in the world. Life is a climb.

@TheWoliper I know exactly how you feel.. well maybe not exactly..but I was in a similar situation at your age... trust me.. you may think you have nothing left in life.. it isn't worth ending it. When you hit rock bottom, there's only one way you can go, up.
