going with my parents to see this at the movies i thought it would suck ass,(i was 12 or 13 yrs old) it turned out to be one of my all-time favortie movies & if i see it now i cant turn it off. So wonderful.

Jane Fonda used all her power and all her money to buy an Academy Award for her father in yet another breathtaking performance that the Academy could not ignore for once. Henry Fonda should have gotten the nod for the Grapes of Wrath, or Twelve Angry Men or Mister Roberts and whatever Jane had to do to bring it about that time more power to her. He was one of the greatest English speaking actors that ever lived.

you gotta love Katharine Hepburn :) She is such a good actress and on top of that so amazingly humane and sweet.
