the real difference in the movie could have been made when he called home NOT TO have his own voice there (meaning real sam is back on earth).... but structure the story so that the very original sam did in fact crash land and die upon his very arrival, and it was all clones from then on (just like the movie was anyway)..... what this does is takes away the "happy ending" think back how relieved you were to know that original sam is just fine back on earth

good movie.... i thought they took the easy way out on the story a couple of times and also took it easy on the audience (they should expect more from us)
imagine for one second, when they splitup and found 2 signal jammers what if one guy found a signal jammer and the other guy found another Seranga base?... gone in...... and there is another clone who is running that base? that would take creep factor to another level
the other instance where they took it easy on us was the whole premise

@98wq1 you know... because of your comment, i expected this movie to be complex. i still enjoyed it very much and yes, a transformers-fan would probably not get much out of it. still, it's a shame that i expected it to be unusual when it's really a very straightforward story.

The best Sci-Fi i've seen in years. Intensely thought provoking, claustrophobic and sad. I could elaborate much more, comment on the excellent acting and directing, but I won't.. I just want to go home :(

Trust me, you find out about 25 minutes in. But he's right, it's not the big twist that's the draw, it's seeing how the two characters react with their situation.
