In ur travels have u ever entered a state known as All Lucky 7s or been able to use the major status "seizure" not to be confused with 'inverse regen' which was used by Bottomswell. This is actually a fluke. Pressing the square button does not slow down the reels but rather do minor pauses for each frame. What he is saying is true but the reels never slow down. They are always moving at the same speed. You pressing the square button repeatedly is only acts as an illusion that they are slowing down.
Yes with LOTS of time and practice you can master and get everything you want. This also works with the battle arena as well
