the best thing about the banks is skating it late at night then skating home going through wall street and seeing how many spots you can hit with out the cops saying shit

it's like graffiti, someone started something, then the gov't tried to stop it. and now people remember what hapend. all the legends were there and now it's gonna get shut down again, but no matter what people are still gonna break some sht and start new eras.

gut wrenching i grew up in middletown nj and used to hop the keyport ferry to nyc or the train to penn station to sk8 nyc and the banks.i lotta memories ,i remember when mike v made it pro it was the coolest that a guy 15 mins from us made it,hope they reopen it one day. :(

Hey Mike, you are my biggest inspiration in skating and i think you're a legend. I was wondering though, what will you do when the Banks open again? Maybe hold a demo? that'd be rad, anyway, you should maybe come to Vancouver (canada, of course) to do something. \m/ (>_<) \m/ =)

@Skalaneable 100% agree ..it was the whole vibe of the place ...youd have to have been there to understand..me and my boys thought we were kings cause we made it over the wall..plus i dont think people realize how big that place was...there was sets of stairs and railings ..and it continued and got bigger across the street but when i went alot people never went that far out for some reason..

i remember seeing mike there with a dude named jeremy and those guys were doing the highest wallrides ever..i was amazed..they looked like super humans..lol..and every thing there was super slick ..like the rails and curbs ..good times man..i even won a shut skateboard at one of mikes demos..real cool dude signed my board and calender...
