Software solution can be much stronger than hardware. Check out Guarded Key, you can distribute unencrypted information to re-generate password when using shared database with 4096-bit key and 8 layers of encryption. Only person with the same database and credentials can re-generate correct password. It works from USB flash drive and can be used on any computer - unlimited license. bIos password from ibm, are a stolen money, from customers, because when it locks, they just say you need a new motherboard, when in fact you can hack it by soldering and some tweaks, i had a problem, and ibm wanted a bunch of money, that could be spent in a new one...., so i had to hack my own pc.... sick... joke

You could improve the audio on this video by using lapel microphones--much clearer!

The social engineering concern is always a risk with our without their product (i.e. trick IT guy over the phone into believing you're a legitimate user). This thing is pretty cool. If it can help my IT guy to easily set hard drive passwords and i use an encrypted drive, if my pc is lost, i don't have to pay for identity theft protection for all my customers or have to disclose to them that their data is at risk. Without encryption you have to tell all CA customers about security breach.

"...and I believe that it IS him." You've got to be f$cking kidding me. LARGEST source of corporate hacking is through social engineering, and you're advocating a method that encourages social engineering. There ARE better ways.
