To lgday: You sold them to RESEARCH?!?! that's like...over my head. "Research" is the pretty word for "torture". That is so sick. Have you read anything about animal testing? I would rather sell myself than an innocent animal who can't decide to itself. Even if I was suffering financially I would never resort to hurting another living creature to reap the benefits. I would rather sell myself to prostitution, because I know that if those rabbits had a voice they'd say "no, stop".

Can I "paris hilton" a rabbit? I want an accessory pet I can have with me ALL the time. Do you think a bunny would hate being carried around....or pursed? Would they get used to it? I think celebrity's should drop the chihuahua craze and "bunny out".

My rabbit lived outdoors in a spacious two story hutch with a large excercise pen. She didn't like hugs. I thunk it was a personality thing. But she could tell when i was sad and would come over and touch my hand. Id sit out for hours with her and she'd graze and dig the lawn and chew on things. I think she was happy.

if your close to your rabbit they love being held and stroked, if you stop patting them sometimes they rub their face on your hand "telling" you to keep patting them

They are one of the best pets someone can have, Mines my best friend aswell as my dogs :). I have always wanted a cat I think they seem great pets,

That depends on the rabbit, it doesn't mean they don't enjoy cuddles, they just prefer cuddles on the ground rather than picked up. But some rabbits don't mind being picked up at all.

If you don't understand why a cat is the most popular pet in the world, clearly you have not had the pleasure of owning one in your life. They are incredible pets and very sweet, despite what people say. You say that cats eat garden birds, so what? There is an entire food chain out there. All animals eat other animals. People eat animals. Is that evil too? People eat chickens, that's a bird. You're blaming cats for something everyone does. Get real.
