oh the directors name is sydney pollack. i'd just like to shout out a big FUCK YOU to sydney for ruining a great book. i emphasize every word of this sentence i am about to make. 'I hope you rot in hell you talentless, arrogant, pretentious piece of garbage' how anybody can read the book and stand the movie must not have understood the book. what a sham

a complete disgrace to the book. its like the directors read the first half of the book, and guessed the second. as the movie got further and furhter the story drifted more and more until we reached a point at the end where mcdeere is cutting a deal with the mafia... when the fuck did that ever happen in the book? classic example of a smarmy ass director fucking a great book in the ass with a terrible movie. i wont even mention the god awful casting, only tom cruise was right for the role.

I loved this book and the movie wasn't bad either. If you like legal thrillers you should definitely check out Puncture with Chris Evans, it's an awesome movie. ww w . youtube . com /watch?v=jbaTN0Pc6bQ

I've seen the movie more than once and have the book lying around in my house but haven't had the time to read it. Is it worth it? I'm sure it is, i am just wondering... |
